Dear Pinelle (and Pinelli), here is the third and last part of my Formentera.
Today I want to talk to you about fashion and restaurants and start right away by showing you my look: after a fabulous day on the beach, all set to go out for dinner in one of my favourite restaurants on the island, Can Carlos.
This restaurant has a magical atmosphere. It’s not on the sea front, but inland in the town of Sant Francesc. The owner is Italian and he started his adventure on Formentera by opening the Giallo chiringuito on Migjorn beach a few years ago. He then decided to open this wonderful restaurant with adjacent bar, where Claudia and I enjoyed our aperitif.
Close by is another place I recommend you go for its atmosphere and truly delicious food, Ca na pepa, this too opened by a dear Italian friend of mine, Alessandro.
If you want to eat on the seafront, I recommend, as I said in my previous post – Les Illettes, Juan y Andrea and Es moli de sal, where you will see some spectacular sunsets.
In San Ferran meanwhile, there is the historic restaurant (although historic does not come close in this case!) Fonda pepe, which is where you go you to eat Paella barata (cheap), but also to enjoy the chupitos they serve at the bar, chupitos that still taste like they did in the sixties.
There are lots of other places you can go, but I don’t want to go on and bore you. Let’s say that I’ll be back another time with more and I look forward to hearing all about your holidays on Formentera!!! 🙂
Besosssssssss a todas Las Pinellas y Los Pinellos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
