Buongiorno Pinelle!!! How are you?
I got back to Rome yesterday to almost summery weather! The tourists were going around in short sleeves! Fantastic… I can’t wait for the spring to arrive!!
In keeping with the red theme of last Monday for the fifth episode of Isola, I want to show you the outfit I wore yesterday – a dark look but with a splash of bright red which I absolutely lurve!
Taking advantage of the mild weather, I got rid of the heavy jacket/coat and went out with just a charcoal grey denim shirt by Meltin Pot matched with a red sequinned Coca-Cola vest by ShopArt. As I always say in these cases, when you have a really eye-catching garment as part of your outfit, you need to tone down the other elements a bit, so it doesn’t look OTT, especially if it’s for daytime wear!
So I picked a really plain pair of black leggings by David Lerner with my Ash boots, which you know quite well by now! The scarf is by Scout, which, I confess, I “stole” from Aurora!! eheheheh Nah, she kindly lent it to me because the air is still a bit chilly despite the sunshine, and I really can’t afford to catch cold!
Then I added two interesting details: a ring by Unik Creazioni, in silver with a black semi-precious stone, and a bag by Coccinelle, in mesh neoprene which reveals the colour underneath, making it perfect for this outfit… and you can decide if you prefer a handle or a shoulder strap!
One question Pinelle… Should I go with or without a hat?
